Our Provençal production site is located in Valréas, in the Vaucluse region of southern France – directly at the heart of the country’s second-largest production zone for aromatic and medicinal plants, at the doorstep of the Drôme region. The area’s agricultural wealth ensures us a reliable supply of top-quality plants, in close proximity to their harvest sites.
The site is equipped with stills and distillation tanks for the production of essential oils and hydrolates in conventional and organic qualities, as well as extractors for the production of concretes and oleoresins.
Its geographic location and large-capacity industrial tool make Biolandes Valréas a versatile, highly efficient production site. It processes some 35 plant species at various harvest times throughout the year. A great many of these raw materials are sourced in France and from the surrounding area, but the site also processes plants from farther away.
