In order to offer this extract, we source fresh Ribes nigrum buds from a French farmers’ cooperative based in Burgundy. Harvested in the winter, from December through February, the fresh buds are extracted at our factory in Valréas, Provence.

Blackcurrant absolute offers, at very low dosage, syrupy gourmand notes evoking the aromas of edible blackcurrant. Beyond that, it will have an impact with very particular and powerful green touches. Blackcurrant is perfectly adapted to floral accords and can also be a very good fixative or harmoniser in chypres.
