Description

Thyme is a subshrub that can reach a height of 40 cm, with evergreen leaves and small blossoms of different colors. It is cultivated in the sunny regions of southern Europe and North Africa, mainly around the Mediterranean Basin. Although it is well-known for its use as an aromatic ingredient in cuisine, thyme also contains an essential oil that is used to make various extracts.
