Description
Native to Australia, Eucalyptus citriodora, or lemon eucalyptus, is a species of tree belonging to the Myrtaceae family. It grows in mountainous zones and on wooded hillsides. Like its cousins Eucalyptus globulus and Eucalyptus radiata, it has acclimated especially well in the Mediterranean Basin and is also found in the Americas. It owes its name to the sharp lemony scent emitted by its foliage.
