Description
Native to Asia and Oceania, Centella asiatica is an herbaceous plant species of the Apiaceae family. Used as a medicinal plant in Ayurvedic and traditional Chinese medicine, it is commonly called “tiger grass.” It reaches maturity after three months. Only the leaves are picked in order to protect the species and maintain it as a resource.
