With our distillery – the largest in the region – on the island of Anjouan, Biolandes HEC is considered the leading producer of essential oil of ylang-ylang in terms of both quantity and quality, and one of the leading essential oil exporters, dating back more than 10 years.
The production site is equipped with 10 stainless steel stills, a configuration that requires less energy consumption than a conventional system. Some 15 permanent employees work at the site on a daily basis.
Comoran ylang-ylang offers a truly characteristic olfactory profile due to an authentic terroir effect. The fresh blossoms supplied by our network of grower-partners are of impeccable quality, picked under ethical, sustainable conditions and with strict traceability.
