- In the north-west of Madagascar at Ambanja, opposite the island of
Nosy Bé, BIOLANDES MADAGASCAR cultivates and extracts the aromatic
products of the Indian Ocean.
- BIOLANDES has been in Madagascar since 1995. The country is particularly
famous for the wide variety of perfumes and flavors it can offer.
In Ambanja, BIOLANDES has an 850-hectare farm and a new extraction plant
that combines tradition and modernity.
- In Ambanja, BIOLANDES cultivates primarily ylang-ylang. Our 240-hectare
plantations are among the largest in the Indian Ocean.
Controlling the flower production ourselves means we offer ylang oils-
that is absolutely pure.
- Our farm also produces vetiver and coffee beans.
- The plant is also dedicated to the production of vanilla extracts.
BIOLANDES has invested in the entire production cycle of this highly
precious product:
- Cultivation in nurseries.
- Setting up of an office in Sambava at the heart of the production
area. There, every year , the best green pods are selected at the best
price.
- Setting up of a curing and packaging line in Ambanja,
- Production of a range of totally pure natural extracts using BIOLANDES'
most advanced extraction techniques.
- BIOLANDES MADAGASCAR also collects the islands major spices (pepper,
cinnamon, ginger, clove, etc.) and processes them locally or exports them according
to the company's needs.
