BIOLANDES ANDALUCIA is located in the south of Spain between Seville
and Portugal in the village of Puebla de Guzman.
- The first BIOLANDES subsidiary outside
France, this plant, created in 1988 is fitted with automated high capacity
distillation and extraction lines (1000 tons of cistus branches per
year).
- BIOLANDES ANDALUCIA is ideally located, at the center of the largest
area of cistus labdanum in Europe, and in close vicinity to the eucalyptus
globulus plantations of Huelva province.
- Innovative mechanical collection techniques
are used on this site for eucalyptus (branches crushed in the forest)
and cistus (collection / crushing tractor).
- BIOLANDES ANDALUCIA is the biggest cistus labdanum derivative production
unit. It can process 10 tons of cistus per day, 24 hours a day from
July to October.
- In particular, the subsidiary produces:
- Cistus labdanum oil and concrete
- Gum Labdanum
- Eucalyptus oil and concrete
- Specialties such as garlic oleoresin or olive leaf extracts
